Shenyang Guo

Shenyang Guo, PhD., Evaluation Unit

Dr. Guo is a Professor in the UNC-CH School of Social Work.

He is a leading authority on research methodology and has written extensively on Propensity Score Matching, Structural Equation Modeling, and Hierarchical Linear Modeling. Dr. Guo has served as P.I. or Co-P.I. on numerous intervention evaluations, such as the Making Choices violence prevention program for elementary school children. He has written more than 45 professional journal articles and books on statistical techniques and research methodology for program evaluation and has received a number of awards in this area.
